INFLUENZA A(H1N1):Tourism became the No. 1 affected business in the world.

The tourism industry may also be called upon to contribute to the emergency response effort including the housing of stranded foreign nationals and/or health care workers. It is therefore critical that the tourism industry is adequately prepared through effective business continuity planning to respond to an influenza pandemic and equipped with the appropriate knowledge, tools and resources to reduce the impact of this threat on the industry.

As global business concern, this Influenza A(H1N1) affected everything. In line with this, tourism became the No. 1 affected business as this virus spread. Asia's tourism had made a great impact. Since Asian countries are preffered tourist destination, it become a threat to its economy. For every flight, full security are given for those travellers that led to the delayed of every flights. Since it became a widespread problem, every countries have been alarmed to be more focused in order this virus not to enter in every countries designated areas of responsibility.

It's a great alarming that every countries must be secured always in case of tourism. It will be a loss for a certain country if this virus entered and spread. Since tourism are affected at this time, we cannot say it's a loss forever because specialist are still working to stop this virus and they made possible solutions in order this virus to be terminated.

  1. I agree with your post. This is truly a deadly disease. Right now, everything is back to normal in Mexico, but still under extreme caution. I hope Philippines will still be 100% free from H1N1 virus.
